Quality and knowledge make up a large part of the Universal Advantage.

UIC has had a certified Quality Control Program since 1972.

Today ASME "U", "UM" and "S" stamps allow for construction and repair of Section VIII Div. 1 pressure vessels and miniature pressure vessels as well as Section I steam generators/boilers and the repair of Section IV heating boilers.

Both Alberta and Saskatchewan certification allow for construction and/or repair (both in shop and field) of ASME B31.3 and B31.1 piping.

UIC's quality program doesn't stop there but extends to all tankage built. The "Shop and Field Tank Quality System" manual encompasses current industry standards, company standards and the newest industry demands (ie. API 653).
